Denkenesh T. 

Denkenesh is being raised by her brother, Yishak, who brought her from the countryside so she can receive an education. He is the only one in the family who was successful in his education. While he is currently employed with the government his income is insufficient to support his family (sister, and 2 of his own children).

 

Denkenesh is in the fifth child in her family. She is 9 years old and in the 2nd grade at Bobicho Elementary School in Hosanna. Her favorite subject is Science and she wants to be a Doctor when she grows up.
